Role and Responsibilities


• Assist in the creation and posting of job advertisements on various job boards and social media platforms

• Coordinate and schedule interviews, both in-person and virtual, ensuring that all parties involved are well-informed and prepared

• Supply specific employment applications to potential candidates

• Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for all candidates

• Screen resumes and applications, conducting initial screenings to assess the fit and qualifications of the candidate(s)

• Run background checks and MVR reports on new hires

• Store and organize new hire paperwork and work with Human Resources to ensure they have all proper documentation • Conduct reference checks on candidates

• Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies to attract top talent

• Maintain regular communication with hiring managers, providing updates on the status of candidates and the overall recruitment process

• Coordinate and participate in recruitment events and job fairs to promote the organization and attract potential candidates

• Create and update job descriptions when needed

• Prepare and send offer letters to candidates for hiring, following the proper format and guidelines that outline the conditions clearly

• Conduct research and stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and recruitment tools and technologies

• Conduct compensation and benefits analyses for different job roles

• Create, update, and maintain candidate experience surveys and analyzing the feedback received

• Review candidate background checks for approval or denial

• Send new hire MVR reports to our Fleet and Safety team for new hire approval or denial

• Track and collect new hire metric reports, such as time-to-fill and hiring source

• Manage the employee referral process, including referral requests and bonuses

• Assist in the scheduling of training sessions

• Coordinate with various departments to assess staffing needs

• Forward suitable candidates to department heads

• Work with the Talent team and other departments to coordinate social media campaigns and branding for hiring


Job Skills/Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources, Communications, or a related field is preferred

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

• Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel

• Excellent time management, organizational, writing, and oral communication skills
