Vaco is working with a great company looking to add an HR Coordinator and Recruiter to their team
Overview: The HR Coordinator and Recruiter play a vital role in the human resources department by facilitating the recruitment process, managing employee relations, and providing administrative support. This position requires a blend of organizational skills, communication abilities, and a strong understanding of human resources practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Staffing:- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure accurate candidate records.
- Facilitate the background check and reference check process for selected candidates.
- Extend job offers and negotiate terms of employment.
Onboarding and Orientation:- Coordinate new hire orientation sessions and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Prepare new hire paperwork, including employment contracts, benefits enrollment forms, and tax documents.
- Facilitate introductions between new hires and team members.
- Address any questions or concerns from new employees during the onboarding period.
Employee Relations:- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Assist in resolving employee relations issues, including conflicts and complaints.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Administrative Support:- Maintain HR records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
- Prepare regular reports on recruitment metrics, turnover rates, and other HR analytics.
- Assist in organizing employee events, training sessions, and other HR initiatives.
- Handle general HR inquiries and provide support to the HR team as needed.
