Vaco is working with a great company looking to add an HR Coordinator and Recruiter to their team

Overview:
The HR Coordinator and Recruiter play a vital role in the human resources department by facilitating the recruitment process, managing employee relations, and providing administrative support. This position requires a blend of organizational skills, communication abilities, and a strong understanding of human resources practices.
Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Staffing:
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
    • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
    • Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
    • Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure accurate candidate records.
    • Facilitate the background check and reference check process for selected candidates.
    • Extend job offers and negotiate terms of employment.

  2. Onboarding and Orientation:
    • Coordinate new hire orientation sessions and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
    • Prepare new hire paperwork, including employment contracts, benefits enrollment forms, and tax documents.
    • Facilitate introductions between new hires and team members.
    • Address any questions or concerns from new employees during the onboarding period.

  3. Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
    • Assist in resolving employee relations issues, including conflicts and complaints.
    • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement.

  4. Administrative Support:
    • Maintain HR records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
    • Prepare regular reports on recruitment metrics, turnover rates, and other HR analytics.
    • Assist in organizing employee events, training sessions, and other HR initiatives.
    • Handle general HR inquiries and provide support to the HR team as needed.
