Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite)


Pay Rate: $48-53/hr


Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to support our Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP). This is an onsite role in San Jose, CA, offering competitive pay. The ideal candidate will have over three years of HR experience, proficiency in Workday, and experience with payroll processing, with multi-state payroll experience being a significant plus.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date HR-related documentation.
  • Perform activities related to background checks, onboarding, employee new hire paperwork (including I-9 and E-verify processes), promotions, employee relations, employment verifications, performance review tracking, internal transfers, and other employee changes.
  • Assist the Senior HRBP and other department leaders with assignments as required.
  • Work with other departments to facilitate onboarding and offboarding, collecting required documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Respond to employee requests, meeting SLA’s and aligning with Archer’s Core Values.
  • Perform routine tasks required to execute human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, employee leaves, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, and performance management cases.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to ensure continued compliance.
  • Act with integrity and maintain the confidentiality of all human resource-related matters.
  • Assist with developing and updating new and existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and HR policies.
  • Perform other HR duties as required to best support the business.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of HR experience
  • Proficiency in Workday is a must.
  • Experience with payroll processing, with multi-state payroll experience being a significant plus.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
