Job Summary:

The Director of Marketing will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of Functional Medicine of Idaho. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, building brand awareness, and fostering marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for functional medicine, a proven track record in marketing and business development, and strong leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy and Execution:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development plan aligned with the medical practice's goals and objectives. Identify new market opportunities and potential areas of growth for the practice.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and patient needs. Analyze data to identify opportunities for the practice to differentiate itself and gain a competitive edge.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborations with other healthcare providers, hospitals, insurers, and community organizations to expand referral networks and enhance the practice's visibility and reputation.
  • Marketing and Branding: Develop and execute effective marketing strategies to promote the medical practice's services and specialties. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create compelling content, advertisements, and promotional materials. Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all channels.
  • Physician Liaison: Build strong relationships with physicians, both within the practice and external referral sources, to increase patient referrals. Provide support, education, and resources to facilitate effective physician engagement and communication.
  • Patient Acquisition and Retention: Develop and implement strategies to attract new patients and retain existing ones. Analyze patient demographics and preferences to tailor marketing efforts and improve patient satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development and marketing initiatives. Prepare regular reports for the leadership team, highlighting progress, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Networking and Industry Involvement: Represent the medical practice at industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices. Leverage professional relationships to enhance the practice's visibility and reputation.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor the marketing and business development team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear goals and objectives for the team, providing guidance and support to achieve them.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment of marketing and business development efforts with overall company goals.
  • Represent FMI at industry events, conferences, and community outreach activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and business development, preferably in the healthcare or wellness industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing and business development strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and analytics.
  • Passion for functional medicine and a commitment to promoting holistic health and wellness.
