Job Summary


This position is responsible for the procurement and distribution of non-medicated items to retail locations. This role also entails multistate analysis and assortment curation at the retail locations.


Responsibilities


  • Vendor Management & Sourcing
  • Vet, onboard, and manage vendor relationships
  • Source non-medicated products, negotiate wholesale rates, set SRP, and manage catalog in both ERP and POS systems
  • Buying & Inventory Planning
  • Leverage sales data and current inventory levels to create and submit purchase orders
  • Responsible for replenishing stores based on forecasted demand and presentation minimums
  • Optimize cost inventory ownership, and execute store-level inventory consolidations as needed
  • Partner with the marketing team to highlight promotional opportunities and plan effective demand simulation strategies
  • Assortment Ownership Analysis
  • Curate national assortment of non-medicated items for retail and eComm, leveraging sales data and market research to optimize portfolio
  • Ideate, execute, and analyze assortment and pricing strategies that maximize revenue, increase space utilization, and appeal to the local market
  • Dictate and manage store-level breadth and depth strategy including visual merchandising
  • Additional Purchasing Responsibilities
  • Support purchasing team in vendor correspondence, executing purchase orders, inventory management, sales analysis, etc


Requirements


  • On-Site in Denver, CO (hybrid role)
  • 2-3 years experience preferably in inventory planning, allocation, buying, or supply chain
  • Cannabis industry experience is a plus
  • Obtains a detail-oriented, collaborative, and analytical skill set
  • Excel proficiency is a plus
  • Ability to read/write in English
  • Reliable transportation
