Responsible for growth, strategy, direction and profitability of the global spares group within the Aftermarket Business Unit. As part of the Aftermarket Services team you will advance its digital tools, operation and customer experience to drive over performance.


Responsibilities


  • Lead a global team with the responsibility for the growth, strategy, direction and profitability of the global spares group.
  • Ensure proper material requirement planning and control of external logistics partners in the context of spare parts warehouses.
  • Transformation of the site based spares group, especially with regard to process optimization and digitization of other tool chains from digitalization to the strategic implementation of SF.
  • Implement a forward-thinking approach to practices and tools (pricing and inventory management) to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Development and implementation of business-enhancing initiatives as part of our spares strategy.
  • Continuous development of the customer experience through advancing connectivity.
  • Close collaboration with internal specialist departments and external partners/stakeholders worldwide.
  • Creation and follow-up of business plans to achieve the goals in the respective markets.
  • Work cooperatively with the Aftermarket sales organization and customers to capture, conceptualize, present products and solutions that drive customer value.
  • Develop the talent and capabilities of team members across the Davis-Standard platform to build resiliency and flexibility for the future.
  • Set, plan, execute global initiatives through a team to exceed customer needs and gain commercial success.
  • Build an understanding of the competitive landscape, DS product positioning and market trends through attending tradeshows, conferences and customer visits.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.


Qualifications


  • Requires an analytical individual that can incorporate statistical tools regarding component wear cycles, pricing, inventory stocking and sales strategies.
  • Proven experience, meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the customer organization include executive and C-level.
  • Proven ability to drive a process from concept to implementation.
  • Experience managing a global organization.
  • Proven ability to articulate distinct aspects of success.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiating and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience within a matrixed organization; working cross-functionally with other business units and product line leaders.
  • Proven change leadership skills.


Education/Experience


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar degree field.
  • Experience of 10-years or greater in management/development roles.
  • Prior experience in the role as a Vice President or Director.
