Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of eCommerce Website Product Management & Optimization to lead our website's product strategy and drive transformative results. This role is pivotal in shaping the online experience for millions of customers, optimizing every touchpoint from discovery to checkout. As the Product Manager for our website, you will be responsible for overseeing a talented team of UX designers, SEO specialists, and product managers, while managing critical vendor relationships and collaborating cross-functionally with sales, merchandising, and product development teams.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead and mentor a team dedicated to enhancing user experience, optimizing conversion rates, and managing all aspects of eCommerce website product management. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Product Ownership: Act as the website's Product Manager, working closely with development teams to implement new features and improve functionality. Drive the product roadmap to align with business goals, focusing on growth, scalability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with 5-10 external vendor partners, ensuring accountability and performance excellence. Negotiate contracts and manage budgets to maximize ROI on vendor services.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with sales, merchandising, and product development teams to align website strategies with broader business objectives. Ensure website initiatives support and enhance overall business goals.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Utilize strong quantitative skills to analyze website performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Monitor and report on key performance metrics such as conversion rates, bounce rates, average session duration, page load time, organic search traffic, keyword rankings, and user engagement. Implement data-driven strategies to optimize the user journey.
  • AI & Machine Learning Integration: Leverage AI and machine learning technologies, including recommendation engines, natural language processing, and automated A/B testing, to personalize and enhance the customer experience. Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate cutting-edge solutions into the website's optimization strategy.
  • SEO Management: Monitor, report, and drive improvements in SEO performance metrics. Lead efforts to increase organic search traffic, improve keyword rankings, and boost user engagement through optimized content and technical SEO best practices.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ensure your team’s technical skills are up-to-date, including proficiency in UX/UI design tools, web analytics platforms, and SEO technologies. Continuously assess and prioritize customer requirements to deliver a superior online experience.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in eCommerce website product management, user experience, and conversion optimization.
  • Proven track record in leading and managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with expertise in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), user behavior analysis, funnel analysis, and site performance tracking.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience in applying AI technologies to web optimization, such as personalized content, user behavior analysis, and predictive analytics.
  • Must reside within a commutable distance to our location; relocation assistance is not available for this position.
