Audio Visual Project Delivery Manager

A-V Services Inc., a leading AV company with multiple fortune 100 contracts within the financial, pharmaceutical and computing industry, is seeking an Audio/Visual Project Delivery Manager. Must have great customer service with emphasis supporting the corporate work sector. Additionally, comprehensive audio video skills. Ideal candidate would have Associates level college degree in a technology related field and/or minimum 3 years of previous employment with AV support responsibilities in the AV industry. This position is responsible for directing project managers, field operational staff, purchasing, and all activities related to the safe and profitable implementation of AV projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct and manage AV Project Managers, Technicians, and purchasing manager.
- Work with regional office operations managers and outside staffing agencies to ensure projects are properly staffed with appropriate technicians, materials, tools and resources.
- Identify qualified sub-contractors for project installations and service calls.
- Ensure company and industry standards and best practices are followed by technicians and subcontractors.
- Determine and provide necessary uniforms, equipment, tools and testers to ensure safe and productive onsite installation activities.
- Work with regional operations managers, manufacturers, government authorities and safety training entities to ensure that company personnel receive required and desired training to meet all industry, government and manufacturer requirements.
- Enforce company’s Safety Program
- Serve as escalation point for customer service and support issues.
- Oversee AV warehouse operations, including space management and inventory control.
- Manage compensation, performance reviews and discipline process for direct reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma required. College a plus
- 7 years’ experience in the commercial AV integration industry focused on project management and field installation experience.
- CTS preferred Additional Avixa certifications a plus.
- Ability to travel 3-5 days overnight per month.
- Proven success managing and motivating a team
- Trained on safety procedures and protocols, OSHA certifications a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Skill in directing the implementation of commercial AV projects.
- Proven track record of reducing costs through processes and efficiencies
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to lead people and obtain results through others
- Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures of the company
- Ability to prioritize conflicting demands
- Ability to see things at close vision
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
