Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President of Sales to lead our sales efforts and drive revenue growth within the life science sector of Cosmetic and OTC products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership, strategic planning, and team management, with a deep understanding of the life science industry.


Duties:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company objectives and revenue targets within the life science sector of Cosmetics and Over-the-Counter products.
  • Build, lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training to maximize individual and team performance.
  • Understanding of ISO, FD&C and 21CFR 210-211 regulations
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and operations to align sales initiatives with overall company goals and objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders in the life science industry, leveraging these relationships to drive business growth and identify new opportunities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and ensure our competitive positioning.
  • Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present regular sales performance reports, forecasts, and recommendations to senior management, providing insights and actionable strategies to optimize results.
  • Strong understanding of life science products, markets, and customer needs, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information and value propositions.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience in recruiting, developing, and managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional analytical skills and the ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of an organization.
  • Results-oriented with a strong drive for achievement and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Work closely with counterparts to forecast hiring needs and revenue growth.
  • Create funnel and performance metrics for sales activities to actively measure sales funnel.
  • Articulate the company’s story and narrative to enhance the brad identity in multiple presentation.
  • Create scripts for cold calling and other sales communication channels.
  • Develop and maintain a robust referral system to request leads.
  • Supervise online marketing efforts and collaborate with external marketing agencies.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Any other duties needed to complete the job.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (MBA preferred)

- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably as a Vice President of Sales or similar position

- Strong background in technical sales or technology sales

- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a high-performing sales team

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills

- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth

- Experience in business development and building strategic partnerships
