POSITION TITLE: System Administrator Intern
POSITION PURPOSE:
Assist in the day-to-day operation of the Distribution Center's Computer Systems including hardware and software. Assists in identifying methods and solutions to provide project leadership and management to obtain a high level of service to the customers of the Distribution Center.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Installs and modifies computer workstations, printers, and software. Ensures periods of system downtime are kept to a minimum and equipment inventory are properly maintained. Setup and manage user accounts in Microsoft Domain and PKMS(AS400) environments. Provides server and user support related to other software, including, but not limited to, Outlook, Excel, and Access.
Assist in managing and troubleshooting of all KYDC material handling systems including conveyor systems, sorter machines, PLC systems, and all technology associated with these systems. Assist in maintaining and configuring SQL, web (IIS), print, and other servers. Opportunity to expand on knowledge of SQL server administration and query development, web development, and other programming languages.
EDUCATION: High School
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 0-2 Years
