Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis process for supply chain operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making and strategic initiatives within the supply chain and CPG divisions.
  • Analyze key financial metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management.

Supply Chain & CPG Support:

  • Partner with supply chain and CPG teams to evaluate the financial impact of operational decisions, including procurement, production, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses of supply chain initiatives, such as sourcing strategies, logistics optimization, and inventory management.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency, cost management, and product profitability.

Strategic Analysis & Reporting:

  • Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior leadership, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Support the development and execution of long-term financial strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives.
  • Provide financial expertise in cross-functional projects, including new product launches, pricing strategies, and market expansion initiatives.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, reporting, and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement financial tools and systems that support better decision-making.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Assess financial risks related to supply chain operations and develop mitigation strategies.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on supply chain and CPG industries.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and advanced Excel skills. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial software (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan) is a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of supply chain processes, CPG market dynamics, and related financial metrics.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience mentoring junior analysts and leading cross-functional projects.
