Quality Assurance Technician (Plano, TX)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform work in various environments including office, lab, warehouse, or user settings.
  • Operate PC and product test equipment, requiring both sedentary and highly mobile activities.
  • Handle and adjust test equipment, materials, and products weighing up to 50 pounds using proper materials handling equipment and procedures.
  • Ensure a high level of visual acuity, numeric/character distinction, and moderate color distinction for accurate test equipment operation and information analysis.
  • Utilize tools and equipment commonly associated with electronic component testing, assembly, and repair (e.g., test equipment, testing devices, technician hand tools, cables).
  • Follow all safety protocols, including using a first aid kit and wearing prescription safety glasses in specific test areas.
  • May require additional work hours beyond the normal schedule; travel may be required based on position.
  • Consistently demonstrate adherence to company policies, including attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities.


Background/Requirements:

  • Fluency in English (Korean language proficiency is a plus).
  • Associate degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering, or Analytics.
  • Experience with electronic and test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, X-Ray, CT, digital microscopes) is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the mobile industry is preferred.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a complex environment.
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications in a Windows XP or NT LAN/WAN environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with multiple internal levels and external contacts, including customers, service agents, sales, and equipment service representatives.
  • Ability to influence others and provide technical clarifications.
  • Proven capability to gather and analyze data from various sources, prepare comprehensive reports, and manage multiple work assignments effectively.
