We are seeking a dedicated **Quality Assurance Inspector** to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that all incoming materials from suppliers meet our stringent quality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Quality Assurance Inspector will:
- Conduct thorough inspections of purchased materials to verify compliance with quality specifications.
- Participate in calibration activities to maintain accuracy in measurement tools.
- Assist in manufacturing inspections, focusing on areas such as through-hole, surface mount, finished PCBA, and upper-level assembly.
- Engage in additional quality or manufacturing tasks as required.
**Hard Skills**:
- Experience in incoming inspection within a quality department.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately verify serial numbers.
- Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-600).
- Experience using inspection tools such as microscopes, calipers, and CMM.
- Capability to document and analyze inspection data.
- A minimum of one year of relevant industry experience or equivalent expertise.
**Soft Skills**:
- Strong character to manage high-pressure situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
This position is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity.
