Position Overview:
Corning Optical Communications LLC is in search of a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer specializing in System Testing. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless integration and comprehensive testing of advanced 4G/5G technology systems and their associated protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate system integration and end-to-end testing of cutting-edge 4G/5G technologies.
2. Conduct quality assurance testing for Enterprise 4G and 5G Radio Access Networks (RAN).
3. Develop detailed test plans and create automated test scripts to validate system features and Wireless protocol performance.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, replicate, and pinpoint root causes of system discrepancies.
5. Assist lab and field teams in analyzing issues and resolving bugs effectively.
6. Perform system characterization and validate products against established specifications by gathering and processing system data.
7. Support interoperability testing with core networks and devices to ensure carrier certification and customer acceptance.

Travel Requirements:
Occasional domestic and international travel may be required (up to 5%).

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance test engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience testing 4G/5G systems and their associated protocols.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing common testing tools and network equipment, including sniffers and Core Network Emulators.
- Familiarity with call flows and call processing procedures, as well as UE log analysis tools.
- Experience with open-RAN and its related components is advantageous.
