Job Requisition: MSP Sales Person (Hunter) - IT Managed Services

As we expand our presence in Central Florida we are seeking a dynamic and motivated MSP Sales Person to join our team and drive the growth of our managed services portfolio.


Position Overview: As an MSP SalesPerson specializing in IT managed services and cybersecurity as a service, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities. You will be responsible for establishing strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their unique challenges, and presenting tailored solutions that align with their technology needs. This role offers a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic sales team and contribute to the growth of a fast-paced and innovative company.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify potential MSP clients in Central Florida who require comprehensive IT managed services or cybersecurity as a service.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand client needs and pain points, and tailor presentations to showcase the benefits of our IT managed service solutions.
  • Work closely with our marketing team to identify prospects and setup on-site meetings with prospects to identify and assess opportunities for introducing solutions through SNS services.
  • Collaborate closely with the technical team to ensure accurate communication of the technical aspects of our services to clients.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to demonstrate the value of our services and address client concerns.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing to ensure mutually beneficial agreements for both the client and the company.
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and goals to contribute to the overall growth of the business.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position our offerings.


Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in technology sales, particularly within the Managed Services or IT sector.
  • Strong understanding of IT managed services including but not limited to vCIO Services, Cybersecurity, Backup and Disaster Recovery services, and IT infrastructure support services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and internal team.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) requirements and strategies a strong plus
  • Understanding the role cyber liability and cyber crime insurance play in determining client needs a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools for tracking and managing sales activities.
  • Knowledge of ConnectWise Manage and ConnectWise CQP (Sell) a strong plus.
  • Ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Previous experience working in a managed service provider (MSP) environment is a strong plus.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience in the technology or managed services industry.

Location: Central Florida (Company based in Lakeland)

Compensation: Competitive base salary + commission structure + benefits package
