Our longtime client is seeing progressive growth and searching for a candidate to maintain strong operational success with all Maryland (20) Surgery Centers while pushing into other nearby states (this role would be managing Maryland locations, not the new locations in other states).


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Delivery of high-quality ASC care.
  • Implement/Adopt innovative practices to improve facilities.
  • Ensures that surgical staff remains in compliance with professional development, Company, and regulatory standards.
  • Ensures operation of medical and administrative equipment by verifying emergency equipment availability; completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Ensures appropriate personnel are fulfilling duties as safety officer and infection control officer.
  • Monitor staffing levels of 20 Maryland based ASC facilities.
  • Mentors/trains all ASC staff
  • Attend educational workshops; review professional publications; establish personal networks; participate in professional societies.
  • Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods.
  • Fills in for nursing vacancies, as needed; performing the roles and responsibilities of an ASC Nurse Administrator.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as Operations Leader
  • One (1) or more years in an administrative nursing role
  • Prior experience working in an Operating Room or Ambulatory Surgical Center.
  • Must possess a current ACLS and BLS certification.
