SteelPeak Estate Consulting is a dynamic and innovative firm specializing in comprehensive estate planning solutions. Our mission is to provide clients with personalized legal guidance to protect their assets, plan for the future, and ensure their wishes are carried out effectively.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level estate planning attorney to lead our newly formed division, SteelPeak Estate Consulting. As the Director, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing estate planning strategies for our clients. You’ll work closely with individuals, families, and business owners to create customized plans that address their unique needs, including setting up living trusts, wills, and other essential documents.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, financial situation, and family dynamics
- Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
- Provide legal advice on tax-efficient strategies for wealth preservation and asset distribution
- Conduct client meetings and presentations to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Stay informed about changes in estate planning laws and regulations
- Work closely with other professionals, such as financial advisors and accountants, to create holistic plans.
- Assist with the sourcing and closing of new business opportunities from existing SteelPeak wealth management clients.
- Help identify and create materials required to position the estate planning solution to new clients.
- Generate content to facilitate the awareness and education of the benefits, changes, and updates related to estate planning laws.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar (California preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Passion for helping clients achieve their estate planning goals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Location
Job is on site. Only applicants willing to work at one of the following locations – Woodland Hills, CA, Beverly Hills, CA, Las Vegas, NV or Newport Beach, CA
Compensation:
Competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience.
