The Role:

The Sr. Business Systems Administrator will play an important role in maintaining, administering, and developing our internal business systems. They will work directly with outside consultants to ensure that all our systems, their integrations and databases are functioning optimally to maximize value to the organization. This person will work closely with our in-house marketing team on web design and UX development, and the sales department to develop KPI reports and operations flows within our CRM & ERP systems. In addition, they will be the primary project manager on all new system implementation projects, system upgrades/fixes and new feature buildout.


Responsibilities:

Working with various outside consultants, this person will be responsible for…

-Maintaining and optimizing internal business systems and maintaining databases integrity:

  • NetSuite
  • HubSpot
  • WooCommerce/WordPress
  • Avalara

-Managing system integrations

-Configuring ERP/CRM systems to improve productivity and value creation.

I.E. creating dashboards and reports, training/assisting employees in the use of these systems, setting up the systems to support our existing and future workflows and operational processes.

-Project Management (new system implementation, system / process flow design)

-Identifying problems when issues arise and working with consultants and outside development teams to develop and implement solutions in a timely manner.

-Work with operations, sales and marketing to identify improvements to both internally facing and external facing systems and managing the development and implementation of these improvements and new features.


Skills:

-Very strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills are required for this job.

-Ability to conceptualize and understand the interrelatedness of various systems and integrations, as well as understanding how changes in one system impact the other systems

-Possess strong project management skills, including leading and organizing a team of outside consultants, often coordinating between two or more separate outside teams to create and implement our vision. The ability to understand the details of our existing systems and the project goals to choreograph the efforts of all outside individuals and see the project through to completion is critical.


Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree in computer science, programming, information systems or related field.

-5+ years of combined experience administering ERP/CRM systems, developing and implementing software and software integrations, general project management.

-Experience implementing, administering, and configuring the following systems is a plus: NetSuite, HubSpot, WooCommerce, WordPress, Celigo, Microsoft Teams or similar systems such as Salesforce.


Compensation:

-Salary $100-$120K DOE

-401k with profit sharing

-2 weeks paid vacation (3 weeks after 5 years with company, 4 weeks after 10 years)
