Sr. System Verification Engineer

Senior System Verification Engineer - Software Mission: The Senior System Verification Engineer will develop tools and processes necessary for the preparation and execution of design verification. He/She will work closely with system engineering and quality engineering to develop and ensure the testability of requirements while developing test methods that will holistically verify the safety and efficacy of the Surgical Robotics platform.
This is a hands-on engineering role that touches on various engineering disciplines required for the formal testing of a complex surgical robotic system, including electrical, firmware, and software.

Professional Experience/Skills/Background to be successful in this role:

Written verification plans/protocols and executed formal testing in a regulated industry, medical device experience
Demonstrated hands-on experience with software test development Knowledge across disciplines: electrical engineering, control systems, software engineering, embedded systems, software infrastructure development
Understanding of engineering concepts such as system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance
Ability to design and develop SW test tools to aid in test development
Ability to develop testing/analysis software scripts in Python, C++, MATLAB and or other scripting languages.
Sr level Python required
Understanding of product development life cycle of complex medical devices Knowledge of Linux, Embedded software, ALM tools like JAMA, JIRA

Education/ Training/ Certifications:


B.S. in Engineering or other applicable technical degree +5 years experience or M.S./PhD in Engineering or other applicable technical degree +3 years experience

Qualifications:
Robotics Experience Key Accountabilities:


Lead verification strategy and execution for sub-system software verification
Work closely with system engineering and quality engineering ensuring requirement testability
Develop test methods that meet complex requirement intent.
This will include protocol development, test script development, test script validation analysis of data, and report/test summary generation
