This position does require travel to our health care facilities throughout the nation. Travel requirements could be up to 25%. Overnight travel may be required.
What Will You Do in This Role?
The Human Resources Director is responsible for managing a variety of Human Resource programs and functions in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable state and federal laws. As a Human Resources Director, you will assist the VP of HR with benefit selection and negotiations, work comp administration, policy development and implementation, employee relations, retention and satisfaction, and other functional areas of Human Resources.
Do You Have What It Takes?
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent years of experience required
- PHR or SPRH certification preferred
- Prior experience with benefits administration and negotiations, work comp administration, and employee relations required
- Excellent knowledge of human resource development and management required
- Must possess working knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, statutes, and regulatory compliance standards
- Ability and willingness to travel; must also be ready to travel unexpectedly as needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite; Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Excellent attention to detail required
- Strong work ethic and team player with excellent communication skills
- Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
