This role is full-time, direct-hire, salaried.



Responsibilities:


  • Lead and develop a team of two hourly CI Associates, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback specific to the manufacturing environment.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement on the manufacturing floor through data analysis, root cause analysis, and lean manufacturing methodologies (Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.).
  • Develop and implement improvement projects to eliminate waste, reduce costs, and enhance quality and safety within the manufacturing processes.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between production teams, engineering, and other departments to ensure successful implementation of improvements on the manufacturing floor.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to manufacturing processes and measure the impact of improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain standardized work instructions and procedures for manufacturing operations.
  • Conduct training sessions for team members on continuous improvement tools and techniques applied to a manufacturing setting.
  • Stay current on industry best practices and emerging technologies in continuous improvement within the manufacturing sector.
  • Participate in continuous improvement workshops and conferences focused on manufacturing processes.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing continuous improvement projects specifically focused on manufacturing processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on manufacturing operations.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work effectively across production teams and departments.
  • Experience leading and developing a team (a plus).
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.) applied to manufacturing (a plus).
  • Experience with project management tools (MS Project, etc.) (a plus).
