Position Summary

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Key Account Manager is accountable for driving the

Distribution, Visibility & Advocacy of Branca USA’s portfolio with a specific focus on the On-Premise channel in the Denver market, ensuring Branca’s drink and account strategies are executed per brand standards. This role involves significant brand activation and fostering of meaningful relationships within the trade and distributor partners to amplify the physical and mental availability of Fernet Branca, Borghetti and Carpano. The role requires collaboration across functions, particularly Sales, Marketing, and Finance.


Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities


Drive the Distribution, Visibility & Advocacy of Branca USA’s brand portfolio in target segment On-Premise accounts:

  • Collaborate with Regional Sales leadership to identify and prioritize On-Premise target accounts with which to expand Branca’s Distribution, Visibility & Advocacy of our portfolio, inclusive of POS execution.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with trade gatekeepers and distributor personnel, ensuring they are emotionally incentivized to sell Branca’s portfolio of brands.
  • Champion brand standards across venues to ensure optimal visibility and consumer engagement, including menu placement, point of sale activations, and event participation.
  • Manage and allocate brand activation budgets efficiently inclusive of account support, ensuring strategic use of resources for maximum impact within allocated budget.
  • Regularly report on performance metrics and KPIs to demonstrate the effectiveness of brand activation strategies and efforts, reporting via KARMA and through monthly recaps providing reporting to all key stakeholders to demonstrate performance.
  • Support National Account mandated listings ensuring distribution and menu compliance.
  • Host surveys for Commercial Leadership, demonstrating compliance against assigned market strategy.


Act as an ambassador for the Branca portfolio, leading the education of trade gatekeepers and distributor personnel through engaging staff trainings, brand events, and educational tastings:

  • Utilize educational materials to educate distributor partners on Branca’s portfolio.
  • Engage and educate bar staff and industry professionals about Branca USA brands, turning them into brand advocates.
  • Act in an ambassadorial capacity at brand events, industry nights, and central marketing activations within assigned market.


Job Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with strong organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across functions with passion and enthusiasm.
  • Strong entrepreneurial ability to work around obstacles, results driven, and a bias for action with a test/measure/adjust approach.


Education

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.


Experience / Background

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred, with a strong emphasis on business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum one year of experience in the distributor or supplier side of the Wine & Spirits industry.


Travel

  • This position will travel up to 10% of the time.
