National Sales Manager

National Trailer Source is looking for an experienced National Sales Manager (NSM) to develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive aggressive company goals and initiatives. The National Sales Manager will concentrate their efforts on driving sales through energy, focus, and proven strategies. The NSM will also conduct research in market trends and behaviors to guide sales efforts. The NSM should utilize creative thinking, business acumen and sales knowledge to provide innovative ideas for business growth. This role must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, partners, and our internal sales team.


Responsibilities:

  • Assess team performance and set clear goals.
  • Lead, coach, and train team members to achieve sales targets, and ensure understanding of company policies, procedures and sales systems.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and refine sales strategies as needed.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
  • Participate in the preparation of the annual forecast by projecting unit sales and gross profit.
  • Provide valuable insights to trending market conditions, and continually update our sales strategy to capitalize.
  • Leverage a culture of collaboration and sharing best practices to address everchanging market trends.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, to drive promotions and sales.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management or combined education and experience equivalent
  • Ten (10) + years of successful and proven experience in senior sales leadership.
  • Self-motivated with a high energy level capable of maneuvering throughout an organization to achieve results.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including presenting to all levels of employees and customers.
  • Commitment to building relationships both internally and externally.
  • Excellent business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to track, measure, and positively impact results and behaviors.
