About The Position


Contract Drafting and Review:

• Ensure contracts include all necessary provisions related to scope of work, payment terms, timelines, and legal compliance.

• Collaborate with legal teams to review terms and conditions and ensure alignment with industry regulations.


Contract Management:

• Monitor contract performance, ensuring that all parties meet their contractual obligations.

• Track and manage contract changes, amendments, and claims, ensuring proper documentation and approval.


Project Coordination:

• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and precon teams to align contract terms with project goals and timelines.

• Ensure that all contractual deliverables, including materials, labor, and services, are provided according to the agreed terms.

• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure their compliance with contract terms.


Risk Management:

• Identify potential risks related to contract terms, project scope, and delivery schedules.

• Ensure that all insurance and bonding requirements are met and documented.


Compliance and Documentation:

• Ensure all contracts comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including OSHA, building codes, and environmental regulations.

• Maintain accurate records of contracts, amendments, communications, and approvals.

• Prepare and manage contract-related documentation, including lien waivers, payment applications, and change orders.


Financial Management:

• Monitor project budgets and costs, identifying any variances or potential overruns.

• Coordinate with finance teams to ensure timely payments and resolve any billing issues.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries from clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

• Provide regular updates to project stakeholders on contract status, performance, and any issues that arise.

• Facilitate meetings with project teams and clients to discuss contract terms, progress, and any changes.


Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare reports on contract status, performance metrics, and project financials.

• Analyze contract performance to identify areas for improvement in future contracts.

• Provide management with insights and recommendations based on contract analysis


About You:

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, business administration, or a related field

• Typically requires 3 years of experience in construction contract administration, project management, or a related role.

• Ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong understanding of construction contracts, including AIA documents, FIDIC contracts, and other industry-standard forms.

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• Familiarity with construction project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, or similar).

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and other technical documents
