Role Description


This is a full-time on-site role for a Loan Officer at Best Option Mortgage located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. The Loan Officer is responsible for evaluating and approving/denying loan applications, providing expert financial advice, and ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies. The Loan Officer also works closely with clients to help them navigate the loan application process, and must maintain excellent communication skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Engage with potential clients via phone and email to assess their mortgage needs and financial status.
  • Provide detailed information about Best Option Mortgage’s products and services, guiding clients through the initial pre-qualification stage.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for clients with loan officers, ensuring a smooth and efficient client flow.
  • Maintain a high level of service by following up with clients at various stages of the loan process, from initial contact to post-appointment follow-up.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing personalized service that aligns with Best Option Mortgage’s values of trust and client satisfaction.
  • Utilize CRM systems to document interactions, appointments, and follow-up tasks, ensuring all client information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to stay informed about market trends, changes in mortgage lending regulations, and new products in the industry.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in the financial industry is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with federal and state government regulations related to lending
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Certification in Mortgage Loan Origination is a plus

  • Must possess a current NMLS license.
  • Proven experience as a Loan Officer or similar role, with a strong focus on customer service and appointment setting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients over the phone and build rapport quickly.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience with CRM software.
  • Knowledge of mortgage lending practices, compliance regulations, and the loan application process.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
