Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth through the sale of marketing campaigns, sponsorships, and partnerships to local and regional businesses. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, a passion for developing talent, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy and vision to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with local and regional businesses to sell marketing campaigns, sponsorships, and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling marketing and sponsorship packages that align with client objectives and maximize NIL opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry developments.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for growth.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in sales leadership, preferably within the sports, or marketing industries.
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Passion for college sports and a deep understanding of the NIL landscape is a plus.
