Role Summary

The Director of Concessions Operations will oversee a dedicated team focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role involves managing the concessions department to optimize guest satisfaction, partner relations, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will possess extensive operational leadership experience with a strong emphasis on quality and team development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruiting and training team members in accordance with our operational standards.
  • Collaborating with location leadership to enhance guest satisfaction and financial outcomes.
  • Fostering engagement within the concessions team.
  • Managing all aspects of event preparation to ensure readiness.
  • Conducting regular maintenance checks on point of sale systems.
  • Analyzing menu items in collaboration with the culinary team.
  • Implementing promotional strategies effectively.
  • Overseeing loss prevention measures and cash management processes.
  • Coordinating with other departments for accurate requisition completion.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conducting monthly financial reporting and strategic planning.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety of all concessions areas.
  • Managing recruitment efforts for team members and volunteer groups.
  • Facilitating pre-event meetings to set expectations.
  • Supporting leadership development initiatives.
  • Ensuring accurate inventory management and reporting.
  • Addressing guest complaints and team member incidents professionally.
  • Conducting safety training sessions for staff.
  • Managing scheduling in alignment with operational demands.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years in a food and beverage operational role.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with hospitality software.
  • Passion for the hospitality industry and commitment to service excellence.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as required.
