Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and implements test automation strategy, test design, and creation and coding reviews to ensure quality.
  • Executing both automated tests and manual tests, develops test plans & track defects
  • Collaborates across IT teams to develop and execute manual End-to-End test cases and exploratory tests, following test case standards.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Must have over 12 years of relevant industry experience.
  • The ideal candidate with proven leadership skills would utilize their pre-existing expertise to advise and execute on these responsibilities:

- Apply technical acumen to understand the architecture and tech stack used in the project.

- Translate the business requirements, the tech specs, user needs, and quality criteria of the project into testable scenarios and test objectives.

- Create a realistic and effective test plan and test strategy by identifying and prioritizing the testing risks, testing scope, test data creation and maintenance, testing resources, and testing schedule.

- Proactively collaborate and provide direction across the organization and with vendor partners (if applicable) to coordinate, communicate, and drive the overall test strategy, ensuring the integration of quality engineering practices across all stages of product development.

- Consult and advise teams on how to design, implement, and improve the testing process and practices, including the different types of testing such as functional, non-functional, integration, regression, performance, security, usability, and accessibility testing.

- Design, architect, and build automation solutions to enable continuous testing during implementation and post-implementation.

- Analyze the test results, test coverage, test metrics, and test feedback and provide meaningful and actionable insights and recommendations on how to improve the software quality and the testing process.

- Communicate effectively both verbally and written with the product managers, engineering leaders, the product teams, business end users, and other stakeholders to explain the testing goals, the testing approach, the testing status, and the testing issues in a clear and concise manner using audience-appropriate terminology and language.
