Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer with a strong specialization in Resiliency and Performance Testing to join our dynamic team at VDart Inc.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS cloud services, infrastructure as code (IaC), and robust experience in designing and implementing resiliency and performance testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient AWS cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategies to test the resilience of cloud-based applications, including chaos engineering practices.
  • Create and manage performance testing frameworks to ensure applications meet performance criteria under various conditions.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
  • Implement monitoring solutions to track system performance and reliability and generate comprehensive reports.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and resiliency issues.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continually improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of our systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, with at least 3 years focused on AWS cloud services.
  • Technical skills:
  • Proficient in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
  • Strong experience with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
  • Expertise in performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.
  • Familiarity with chaos engineering tools like Gremlin or Chaos Monkey.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Solid understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or equivalent certifications.
