Sr. B2B Content Marketing Manager

Our client, a B2B cybersecurity company, is looking for a Senior B2B Content Marketing Manager with specialized experience in cybersecurity, data analytics, or information technology for a maternity leave cover from April-September. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving their content marketing strategy forward, focusing on both strategic initiatives and day-to-day content production. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the nuances within these industries and is capable of crafting compelling narratives that resonate with their target audience. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead content initiatives that elevate our brand presence and drive engagement across various channels.
This is a remote contract position that requires EST hours.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive content marketing strategies tailored to the cybersecurity, data analytics, or information technology sectors.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify content needs and align content initiatives with overarching marketing objectives.
- Develop high-quality content assets such as webpages, webinars, e-books, case studies, whitepapers, and thought leadership articles that showcase industry expertise and drive lead generation.
- Manage the end-to-end content production process, from ideation and creation to publication and distribution, ensuring consistency in messaging and brand voice.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform content strategy and maintain thought leadership positioning.
- Optimize content performance through regular analysis of key metrics and iteration based on insights gleaned from data.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in content marketing, with a focus on B2B marketing within the cybersecurity, data analytics, or information technology industries.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful content marketing strategies that drive engagement, lead generation, and brand awareness.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives tailored to technical audiences.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation platforms.
- Experience with SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
