What will your day look like? As a Senior Manager of DevOps, you will:

  • Champion innovation by delivering cutting-edge software, database, and cloud solutions aligned with stakeholder needs.
  • Spearhead software development, overseeing the design, creation, and deployment of company platforms, mobile applications, and business systems.
  • Enhance the stability and reliability of cloud-based applications and services.
  • Manage the design, implementation, and upkeep of a scalable, secure infrastructure supporting product and tool development, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Lead initiatives to automate repetitive tasks, optimize deployment processes, and streamline business workflows.
  • Establish and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Implement and enforce best practices for securing infrastructure and applications.
  • Promote strong collaboration between development and operations teams, fostering a DevOps culture focused on efficiency, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to efficiently manage and provision infrastructure resources.
  • Develop, prioritize, communicate, manage, and execute roadmaps and project plans.
  • Serve as a cloud infrastructure subject matter expert, conducting design reviews and consulting with the Infrastructure Team to ensure best practices.
  • Shape business requirements to optimally leverage technology, aligning with architectural strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Data and Analytics team to design and deliver a robust data integration architecture and platform that ensures high data quality and timeliness.
  • Partner with business and IT delivery teams to provide effective technology solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices, integrating them into the company's strategy and roadmap.
  • Source, recruit, and hire talent to meet staffing needs.
  • Provide coaching and developmental feedback to employees.
  • Maintain a high-quality support team through strong and continuous leadership, ensuring team members have the appropriate skills.
  • Lead and develop a team of software developers and cloud specialists in a dynamic environment.
  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of technology projects and lead a team of developers.


You will be a good fit as a Senior Manager of Development if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required.
  • At least ten (10) years of experience in information technology, with a strong emphasis on data management, analytics, or architecture.
  • Proven experience in supervising and leading IT teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Over five (5) years of hands-on software development experience, including proficiency in coding and system design.
  • Extensive experience of more than five (5) years working with major cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, demonstrating expertise in cloud-based solutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise with various database technologies, highlighting skills in database management and optimization.
  • Practical experience in both data architecture and software development, showcasing the ability to design and implement robust data solutions.
