Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM

Facility Details: Join a 200-bed medical center with a team of 30 full-time employees.

Compensation Package: We offer a comprehensive benefits package along with eligibility for a 15% incentive bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee laboratory operations, programs, and activities to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Manage staffing processes, including hiring, orientation, training, and performance evaluations to maintain a qualified team.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to staff to promote professional development.
  • Develop and implement departmental strategies aimed at achieving service, quality, compliance, financial, and patient satisfaction goals.
  • Monitor financial performance of the laboratory, identifying variances and opportunities for improvement, and prepare monthly operational reports.
  • Ensure adherence to standards set by accrediting bodies such as CAP, JCAHO, CLIA, FDA, and CMS.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Biomedical Science, Biology, or Chemistry (Master's Degree preferred).
  • National Certification as a Medical Technologist is required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in laboratory management, particularly in complex laboratory settings.
  • Experience in a hospital clinical laboratory environment.
