Warranty Manager

OVERVIEW:

The Warranty Manager is responsible for analyzing and processing warranty claims to ensure accuracy, including extended warranty requests. Provides detailed analysis and reporting on warranty costs. Supports multiple locations with warranty-related issues and manages the return of warranty parts from retailers to the factory.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Review and evaluate warranty claims for labor and material adjustments, examining alleged defective parts, and approving or rejecting claims.

- Investigate warranty claims for reimbursement and defective parts, assisting reatilers with unresolved issues.

- Process warranty claims from port facilities and retail locations.

- Generate reports detailing claim volumes, types, trends, and resolutions, making recommendations based on findings.

- Conduct monthly closure of claims and prepare analysis reports.

- Analyze warranty trends and costs, and conduct audits related to warranty processes.

- Assist in developing and maintaining the warranty policy and procedures manual.

- Prepare technical reports for the factory and manage paperwork flow for warranty parts to the factory.

- Coordinate and oversee the warranty process in the workshop.

- Collaborate with Operations Manager on new recall and service campaigns in the warranty system.

- Support factory requests for assistance and product development, and contribute to writing warranty bulletins.

- Review and process warranty labor rates and part markup adjustments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Previous experience in warranty claim processing, ideally in consumer products or automotive industries.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Understanding of customer service principles and automotive technology.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic and integrity.
