Local systems integrator has an immediate opening for a full-time outside sales Account Manager, primarily serving the commercial, educational and industrial markets.  At Sonitrol of New Orleans we design, install and support Intrusion Detection, Access Control, Video Surveillance, and Life Safety Fire Alarm systems.  Candidate must demonstrate the ability to generate and work with floor plans/blueprints, utilize Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat.


The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have an ability to take initiative, prioritize and schedule short & long term tasks.

Candidate must have reliable transportation, be able to pass drug screening test and become licensed through background checks by the Louisiana State Police and Office of the Louisiana State Fire Marshal.


Responsibilities

·       Develop new leads via networking, cold-calling and referrals

·       Conduct thorough fact-finding on all sales projects

·       Become knowledgeable about entire product line

·       Configure all required documentation for all proposals and agreements

·       Collaborate with technical, administration and support colleagues on a regular basis


Qualifications

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Adobe Acrobat

·       Minimum 3 years outside sales experience

·       Industry experience not required, but can be considered a plus

·       Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills

·       Ability to multitask
