About the Role


  • Develop, implement, and enforce industry-leading safety programs that meet OSHA and NC state regulations to keep our Raleigh worksites safe.
  • Conduct thorough and proactive safety inspections across Raleigh project sites, identifying and eliminating hazards before incidents occur.
  • Investigate safety incidents thoroughly, analyze data, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Deliver engaging and informative safety training programs to employees and subcontractors, covering Raleigh-specific construction safety protocols, fall protection, PPE use, and safe work procedures.
  • Maintain meticulous safety documentation for Raleigh projects, ensuring all SDS, accident reports, and training records are up-to-date and readily available.
  • Analyze key safety metrics for Raleigh projects, identifying trends and reporting findings to the Safety Manager, proactively promoting a zero-incident work environment.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by keeping current on the latest OSHA regulations, North Carolina safety requirements, and industry best practices specific to Raleigh construction.
  • Collaborate effectively with project managers and superintendents to seamlessly integrate safety into every aspect of Raleigh construction projects.
  • Be a safety champion, enthusiastically promoting a positive safety culture across the company, ensuring "safety first.


About the Candidate


  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in safety coordination within the commercial construction industry.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety and Health Certification (required).
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and North Carolina state safety requirements specific to the Raleigh construction industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Thrive in a team environment while demonstrating the ability to work independently.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and passionate about creating a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
