Pay Range: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated Information Security Analyst to join our team in Austin. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding our organization's information systems and data integrity.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze security event logs using SIEM tools (Splunk), Endpoint tools, and other security technologies.
  • Perform vulnerability scans and internal risk assessments/testing as necessary.
  • Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees to enhance organizational security posture.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents and data breaches, coordinating effective incident response measures.
  • Identify and investigate potential security incidents and threats, implementing proactive security measures.
  • Conduct threat intelligence research and integrate findings into security monitoring dashboards.
  • Maintain, automate, and continuously improve security dashboards and alerts for enhanced threat detection.
  • Drive improvements in data loss prevention (DLP) techniques, tactics, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security.
  • Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk), Endpoint tools, and other security technologies (Crowdstrike, Symantec, Proxy, Netskope, McAfee).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret security event data.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively train and educate employees on security practices.
