Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing standards and enterprise-wide best practices and for engineering complex, large-scale technology solutions to address highly complex and typically cross organizational security issues
  • Translates advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical solutions.
  • Serves as the highest-level technical expert to internal clients and technical management on risk assessment, procedure development, cost/benefit analysis, strategy development and implementation of architectural designs/re-designs. Influences the definition, establishment, use and governance of architecture frameworks, architectures, and related tools.
  • Conducts research and development on IT security trends and technologies to introduce value-added architectural designs and concepts that direct future technology solutions and adoption
  • Conducts detailed technical analysis of IT systems environments from Endpoint, Server, Application, Network, and other technical data
  • Documents Data Flow and Security Architecture diagrams and present to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Identifies best in class and standard industry information security solutions and compares options to identify the ideal solution.
  • Manages vendors for outsourced Information Security solutions in rapidly changing environment
  • Consults with company Management on refining information security services offering to meet business requirements
  • Identifies program and process improvements and implements solutions to existing processes and programs
  • Provides subject matter expertise on IT security technologies (endpoint, anti-virus, WAF, network, IDS/IPS, DLP, etc.)
  • Acts in a strategic role across assigned line of business or entire infrastructure domains, describing the current state and defining the target state and transition strategy for the organizations processes, and technology, and guiding or leading initiatives to achieve these transitions.
  • Leads Enterprise-level initiatives that ensures the interests of multiple lines of business and infrastructure domains are represented in the architectural framework.
  • Approves high level architectural impact designs and exceptions to Enterprise Architecture.
  • Assists with configuration of cybersecurity tools that are deployed, including Endpoint information security systems, Next-Generation Firewalls, and Data Loss Prevention solutions.
  • Assists and mentors System and Solution Architects in their assigned responsibilities where required
  • Performs other ad-hoc responsibilities related to information security analysis and technology]
  • Understand and comply with all applicable federal and state laws and banking regulations (including those related to OFAC and Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering compliance) and Client policies and procedures.


Qualifications

  • Requires 8+ years of combined IT and security work experience with a broad range of exposure to systems analysis, application development, systems administration and over 5 years' experience designing and deploying security solutions and initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or related technical discipline
  • CISSP, CISA, GSEC, GCFA, GISP, or equivalent certification highly desired
  • Knowledge of Firewall and other network security technology is required
  • Knowledge of Endpoint and Server information security is required
  • Knowledge of SIEM is required
  • Knowledge of access control policy, firewall policy, and end-user computing policy is required
  • Technical ability to assess Security technologies is required
  • Hybrid Cloud, Public Cloud, SaaS experience is strongly desired
  • Leadership experience related to information security is desired
  • Familiarity with FFIEC, NCUA, NIST and/or ISO standards pertaining to information security is strongly desired
  • Must have a strong background in Cloud, Network and Endpoint security
  • Advanced skill in communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience is required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
