Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Account Security Specialist to join our team at Gainwell Technologies. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level security guidance and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic security guidance and support to clients, including risk assessments, policy compliance management, and vulnerability reporting.
  • Conduct annual user access reviews and monthly reviews of privileged access.
  • Coordinate full risk assessments every three years and work with clients to implement security controls.
  • Coordinate annual SSAE18 audits with clients and third-party auditors.
  • Develop and maintain documentation supporting HIPAA compliance, including Privacy and Security Manuals, Risk Management Plans, and Incident Response Plans.
  • Work with clients to conduct HIPAA new hire training and maintain all documentation supporting HIPAA compliance.
  • Provide 24/7 availability for emergency situations, including privacy and security events reported by the SIEM SOC.
Requirements
  • 4-5+ years of experience in data privacy and security, with a focus on healthcare environments and compliance planning and implementation.
  • Experience with risk management techniques, including NIST security controls and HIPAA/HITECH regulations.
  • Bachelor's or undergraduate degree or equivalent diploma, or combination of education, certification, and relevant experience.
  • Professional certification such as CISSP, GSEC, etc. a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and lead security-related business development activities.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple high-pressure situations simultaneously.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
