Our client, a leader in the design and manufacturing of tilt-pad fluid film thrust and journal bearings, has an exciting opportunity for a newly created position in the sales and marketing department, a Marketing and Brand Specialist This position will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to promote our client’s brand, products, and services.

Position opportunity: The Marketing and Brand Specialist will bring their creative and results-driven skillset to work collaboratively with various departments and outside consultants to perform a variety of marketing tasks. They will bring their ideas and curiosity to enhance the company’s brand. The duties included are:  

  • Understand the organization’s marketing goals and objectives and develop strategies and plans to achieve them.
  • Create presentation material and tools for the sales team using professional and modern formats.
  • Organize, coordinate, and participate in trade shows and other industry events to generate leads and build relationships.
  • Validate leads from tradeshow and website and forward to appropriate sales team members.
  • Work with internal departments and external marketing agency to create advertising content.
  • Develop marketing materials such as brochures, pamphlets, web pages, advertisements and create or oversee production of marketing collateral.
  • Conduct market research to identify and analyze industry trends, demographics, competitor activities, and other relevant information to help form marketing strategies. Research industry growth prospects.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in the manufacturing industry.
  • Coordinate management of social media accounts and content posts on a regular basis to engage followers and enhance brand awareness.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing analytics and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Prepare marketing budgets and track expenses to stay within budget constraints.
  • Manage consistent “culture oriented” internal communications.
  • Execute uniformity and consistency in external messaging.
  • Communicate marketing initiatives and results to key stakeholders.
  • Occasional travel may be required to attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.


Ideal candidate: The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded skill set encompassing various aspects of marketing including digital marketing, content creation, event coordination, and market research. Experience will include:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field.
  • Prior experience in a marketing role with a well-rounded knowledge and experience in digital marketing, content creation, event coordination, and market research.
  • Strong understanding of branding principles and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience utilizing marketing software and tools (e.g., CRM, SEO, social media management, or other related tools).
  • Knowledgeable in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives.
