Actively seeking a Senior Human Resources Compliance Manager for a HYBRID and Full-Time Position within a Law Firm. The manager needs to have at least 5-10+ years of experience in an HR management role, with a focus in Compliance across multiple jurisdictions, preferably with prior legal experience or within professional services, financial services, or banking.

HOURS: Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST

SCHEDULE | LOCATION: HYBRID (3 Days In Office) | Manhattan, NY

PAY: $150 - $205K (Commensurate w/Experience) + Discretionary Bonus

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree REQUIRED; Human Resources or Business Administration, or Related Field
  • SPHR/PHR certification and/or advanced degree PREFERRED
  • 5-10+ years of relevant HR management experience in a professional services environment
  • Strong MS Office Suite Experience (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); Workday Proficiency
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on all firm Human Resources compliance policies, procedures and programs to ensure that they meet legal requirements
  • Partner with the Office of the General Counsel (OGC) to produce interpretations of findings as well as recommendations on changes to existing policies and firm systems.
  • Stay informed about changes in employment laws, regulations, and industry standards that may impact HR policies
  • Address additional compliance issues such as state leave laws, insurance entitlements, and monthly pay for exempt employees.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, integrity, ethics, and dedication
  • Stay updated on emerging compliance issues, especially in areas such as AI regulations and data privacy in Asia
  • Additional duties as assigned and needed for the department
