We are seeking a creative and dynamic TikTok & YouTube Social Media Manager to join our team and drive engagement, growth, and brand awareness across the TikTok and YouTube platforms this summer.

*Please note: This is not a paid internship; this is only available for college credit. All applicants must be located in NYC.

Responsibilities:

  1. Content Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy tailored to the TikTok platform, aligning with the company's branding and marketing objectives.
  2. Content Creation: Produce engaging and visually appealing TikTok videos showcasing behind-the-scenes moments, exclusive tour experiences, and highlights of iconic filming locations.
  3. Trend Identification: Stay updated on TikTok trends, challenges, and features to incorporate relevant content and capitalize on trending topics to increase engagement and reach.
  4. Community Engagement: Foster a strong community presence by actively engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and building meaningful relationships with TikTok users.
  5. Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, tour operations, and creative, to ensure alignment of TikTok content with overall marketing initiatives and tour offerings.
  6. Analytics and Reporting: Monitor key performance metrics, analyze data insights, and generate regular reports to track the success of TikTok campaigns and optimize strategies for maximum impact.
  7. Influencer Partnerships: Identify and collaborate with relevant TikTok influencers and content creators to expand reach, drive user-generated content, and enhance brand visibility.
  8. Brand Ambassador: Serve as a brand ambassador for [Company Name] on TikTok, embodying the company's values and mission while representing the brand in a positive and authentic manner.


Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience managing a TikTok account, preferably in the travel, entertainment, or tourism industry, or your own account, which must have a strong following.
  2. Strong creative skills with the ability to conceptualize and produce engaging video content optimized for the TikTok platform.
  3. Deep understanding of TikTok trends, algorithms, and best practices, with a passion for exploring new features and innovative content formats.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with followers and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  5. Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms to track performance metrics and derive actionable insights.
  6. Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Knowledge of TV and movie culture, particularly iconic filming locations in New York City, is a plus.
