Document Control Specialist

Summary

The document controller role will be a dedicated on-site resource to a brownfield construction for a facility in Louisiana. This resource will be in charge of organizing all project related documents that can be generated buy Engineering, Procurement, Construction or Operations teams.Familiarity with the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is a huge plus but not required.


Responsibilities

  1. Manage the flow of documentation within the organization
  2. Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement
  3. Document tracking – track documents from engineers, reviewed and approved by Bunge to the contractors/business partners
  4. Review and update technical documents (e.g. manuals and workflows)
  5. Distribute links to project-related copies to internal teams
  6. File documents in appropriate digital records (there are multiple)
  7. Controlling Revisions of marked documents to ensure latest versions are being shared.
  8. Align document flow with eng company
  9. Once transmittals from eng company is received. Doc control will fetch the deliverable and store them in Bunge’s
  10. Inform all concerned/responsible parties about transmittal storage
  11. If review of documents are required, contact accountable and responsible parties in a timely manner (usually 1 week before)
  12. Transmit comments back to eng vendor once completed
  13. Control and coordinate the structure of project filing system. Following standardized structure across Mega projects
  14. Alignment with construction and eng companies. Doc control plan must be created to understand document control flow across all teams involved.
  15. Post review doc control will place commented/marked copy in correct construction Drawing and Specs location
  16. Filing Bunge SME approved drawing for procurement use to IFB
  17. Filing receipts and drawings for Bunge SME final approval
  18. Store transmitted IFC documents into designated engineering folder on sharepoint site


Education/Experience/Skills Required

  1. 5+ years of experience in document and workflow administration
  2. Demonstrated experience handling capital project work
  3. Bachelor’s degree preferred
  4. Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) software highly preferred
  5. Experienced in using TEAMS, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
  6. Builds Shared Vision

  10. Team working
  11. Communicates and persuades


Work Schedule and Duration

  1. 40 – 50 hours per week
  2. Job Start – Immediately upon successful interview
  3. This role is projected to end by Q1 of 2026
