Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers with the preparation of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate project activities, resources, and information.
  • Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Help track project progress and ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Prepare and distribute project-related documents, such as reports, proposals, and meeting minutes.
  • Maintain project documentation and update records in the project management software.
  • Assist in the identification and resolution of project issues and risks.
  • Identify, implement and manage a cloud-based project management software.
  • Support the project managers with project management and other related duties (e.g., emails, calendars and other administrative duties) as needed.
  • Work cross-functionally with our various departments.
  • Manage additional project management projects as necessary.


Qualifications

  • 1+ years of project management experience is required. Ideally, 3+ years of experience is desired but not required.
  • Experience working in the manufacturing or construction industry is a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with construction drawings required/basic knowledge of CAD is a plus, but not required.
  • Willingness to learn, assimilate, and communicate what you know and what you don’t know honestly/directly.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; strong bias for action and problem solving.
  • Positive attitude and work ethic.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A passion for working smart, proactively and the ability to take on initiatives without direction.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with PC or Mac-based systems including Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management software (like Asana, ClickUp, MS Project, Trello, etc.)
  • A high school degree is required. A 4-year college degree in business administration or related discipline is desired but not required.


Location

The position will be based out of our office in Gardena, CA. This is not a remote position.
