Job Description:


We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Federal Construction Quality Control Manager to oversee and ensure the highest quality standards in our federal construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of federal construction regulations, quality control procedures, and industry best practices. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage quality control processes and ensure project compliance.


Key Responsibilities:


- Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures in accordance with federal construction standards.

- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.

- Review and approve construction plans, submittals, and materials to ensure they meet quality requirements.

- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and federal representatives to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.

- Maintain detailed documentation of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.

- Train and mentor project staff on quality control procedures and federal construction standards.

- Ensure all construction activities comply with federal regulations, contractual obligations, and safety standards.

- Conduct pre-construction meetings and quality control meetings to communicate expectations and standards.

- Monitor project progress and provide regular quality control reports to stakeholders.

- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes and project outcomes.


Qualifications:


- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction quality control, preferably in federal projects.

- In-depth knowledge of federal construction regulations, quality control standards, and industry best practices.

- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

- Proficient in quality control software and tools.

- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

- Certification in quality control (e.g., CQM, CQE) is preferred.
