Kustom US is seeking a Quality Control Specialist. The Quality Control Specialist, under direction of the Senior Project Manager, will assist with customer complaints, follow up with clients after a board up was completed to offer other services, assist with communications with fire departments, and establishing relationships with other municipalities.


Core Responsibilities:

The Quality Control Representative performs the following duties along with any additional duties as assigned by management per business needs.

  • Review customer warranty issues, and work with internal & external tradespersons and vendors to solve issues.
  • Meet with design professionals, estimating staff, and regulatory agencies to review work scopes and solve project issues and concerns.
  • Training of employees and subcontractors (To include attending external training to keep internal staff informed on codes, products & industry practices & changes)
  • Follow up with homeowners after fire department board-ups to try and obtain repair contract. Potentially be onsite for larger and more complex board ups.
  • Assist staff with communication with fire departments relating to company performed board-ups.
  • Establish relationships with other fire municipalities and board up programs.
  • Assist in recruiting subcontractors in order to meet company needs.
  • Walk large losses with estimators to assist in capturing the correct scope of work.
  • Assist on commercial large loss projects/complex residential projects when needed.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of verifiable experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently, as a team, and handle multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail.
  • All applicants must have good DMV and be able to pass insurance company’s criminal background check.
