GCP team members care about the populations they serve and work hard to make a sustainable and profound difference in people's lives.  As our Office Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our donors, programs, and daily operations. You'll work closely with our dedicated team in Minneapolis, enjoying a positive, collaborative work environment that emphasizes work-life balance. 


Your responsibilities will include assisting in office operations, fundraising, community engagement, and donor relations.


Responsibilities

Fundraising and Donor Relationship Management:

• Focus on fundraising efforts, including cultivating and nurturing major donors (individuals, corporations, and foundations) in North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Montana. This position will require travel to these areas.

• Develop major special events in Bismarck to raise funds and engage the community.

• Assist in developing an annual plan of major donor activities in Bismarck for approval by the Executive Director.

Volunteer Development and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Recruit, engage, and develop volunteers and stakeholders.

• Coordinate public presentations and involvement with organizations such as service clubs and the Chamber to promote GCP in the Bismarck area.


Other Duties

• Help maintain the success of running the Bismarck office as needed.


Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (strongly preferred)

• Experience with administrative and clerical work

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

• Strong ability to multitask

• Exceptional attention to detail and proactive approach to work

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Cultural sensitivity and emotional intelligence

• Friendly and upbeat demeanor

• Must have proven fundraising experience with a nonprofit organization (sales experience is not considered fundraising)
