KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

ENGAGEMENT

  • Welcome every customer warmly and utilize the F.A.S.T. service model to fulfill their needs.
  • Ask insightful questions to understand customers' project requirements and guide them to the appropriate products.
  • Engage in friendly discussions with customers about their projects while assisting them at various service points.

OPERATIONS

  • Efficiently process customer transactions at the cutting counter and cash register with professionalism.
  • Handle merchandise by lifting, arranging, and stocking items as per company guidelines.
  • Maintain a high level of productivity while accurately stocking shelves according to established plans.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the sales floor by addressing spills and recovering shelves promptly.

SALES INITIATIVES

  • Encourage customer participation in store events, classes, and special promotions.
  • Drive sales through knowledgeable product recommendations and strong customer relationships.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures to minimize inventory loss and ensure accuracy.

TEAM SUPPORT

  • Assist colleagues with tasks to help the team exceed performance expectations.
  • Collaborate with management and team members on various projects in a supportive manner.
  • Help train new Team Members on customer service, register operations, and inventory management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
  • Frequent movement throughout the store is required.
  • Read and interpret written materials and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Utilize equipment to transport merchandise and perform various physical tasks.

AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS

This part-time position requires flexible availability to meet store needs. Team Members typically work less than 28 hours per week, with schedules based on store demands and individual availability.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

No formal education is required, although a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Experience in a customer-focused environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
