Interview Process: 1-Round, Virtual via Microsoft Teams

Responsibilities

  • Ability to communicate remotely using collaborative tools like Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience with MAC OS X and understanding of Linux administration is a plus.
  • Liaise with vendors and IT personnel for problem resolution.
  • Provide Level-2 and Level-3 support and troubleshooting.
  • Work within established configuration and change management policies.
  • Select and implement security tools and procedures in collaboration with the security team.
  • Ensure compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and best practices.
  • Plan and coordinate installations of new hardware and software, including upgrades and security patches.
  • Develop and exercise contingency and disaster recovery plans.
  • Provide documentation for computer systems, including floor plans, network diagrams, and power and cooling requirements.


Minimum Requirements:

  • 7 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; OR 5 years with a Master’s Degree; OR 3 years with a Doctorate.
  • Security clearance of Secret or higher.
  • Experience interacting with DoD program users.
  • Security+ certification and required Operating System certificate.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Experience with VXRails, VMware ESXi, and VMware Horizon Client.

Desired Skills:

  • MAC OS X Administration and IOS patch management.
  • DoD Remedy help desk system experience.
  • Industry or comparable certifications in Service Desk Applications.
  • Knowledge of configuring and managing user workstations, system troubleshooting, and creating/managing user accounts.
  • Experience with Risk Management Framework.
