  • Engages in basic setup, monitoring, troubleshooting, analysis, and repair of Desktop and Server systems, Disaster Recovery Systems, switches, networks, and video systems.
  • Handles help desk inquiries and performs system administration tasks.
  • Organizes work center operations, equipment, and processes based on performance metrics and mission requirements.
  • Analyzes problem reports, aids in root cause investigations, and implements necessary configuration and process modifications.
  • Offers technical support during system upgrades and configuration adjustments.
  • Assists in the deployment of software and firmware/hardware updates, leading complex troubleshooting initiatives.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of operational procedures and supporting documentation, taking a lead role in their development.
  • Ensures technical support is accessible for system administrators and maintainers in executing administrative and maintenance tasks.
  • Utilizes IT service management systems and ensures compliance with Information Assurance requirements.
  • Performs Client System Administrator (CSA) duties for specific mission systems that necessitate specialized support.
  • Maintains cross-platform interconnectivity for network services, authentication services, email services, and web services.
  • Ensures adherence to Information Assurance standards.
  • Implements training and mentoring programs and practices.
  • Performs additional related duties and tasks as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Top-Secret Clearance with the capability to obtain and sustain a DoD TS/SCI security clearance. US Citizenship is necessary for TS clearance acquisition.
  • Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent academic, military, or technical training along with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Must possess a DoD IAT Level II (or higher) certification.
  • Trained in information assurance to DoD M IAT Level II or higher.
  • Demonstrated system administration skills, knowledge, and technical expertise in managing workstations, information systems, and networks, including both hardware and software.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows 11 and Windows Server 2019 is required.
  • Must be self-motivated and capable of establishing and adhering to project timelines.
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Professional suite (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills for drafting recommendations, reports, purchase justifications, memos, and other documentation.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license.
