Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (Commerce)

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Business Analyst to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting sales efforts, providing technical demos, consulting with clients, aiding in customer implementation, and ongoing management. Additionally, this individual will contribute significantly to product innovation, roadmap development, and assist in refining our product marketing strategy to ensure a value-based message with measurable outcomes.



Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (computer science, mathematics, statistics, analytics, etc.) or 3-5 years related experience


  • Strong analytical and data visualization with Looker, Mode, Tableau and/or Power BI


  • Strong SQL experience is a must


  • APIs - Experience with REST, SOAP & GraphQL using tools such as Postman or Insomnia


  • Relational databases - PostgreSQL & Redshift preferred, SQL or MySQL


  • Experience in ecommerce/commerce data analytics with platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, Google Analytics, Meta, Netsuite, and Google Sheets. 


  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and ETL pipelines


  • Experience working with or at Fashion/Apparel, Sporting Goods, Food and Beverage, Consumer Goods, Health and Wellness, or Cosmetics companies




Key Responsibilities:


  • Client Support and Consulting:
  • Conduct technical demos and presentations to prospective clients to showcase product capabilities.
  • Provide expert consulting services to ensure successful client implementation and usage of BI tools.
  • Maintain ongoing client relationships and provide support to optimize their use of BI solutions.


  • Sales and Marketing Support:
  • Assist the sales team with data-driven insights and technical expertise to drive sales efforts.
  • Develop and refine product marketing strategies to highlight value propositions and measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling case studies and customer success stories.


  • Product Innovation and Development:
  • Contribute to product innovation and roadmap development by providing customer feedback and market insights.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to ensure customer needs are met and features are enhanced.


  • Data Analysis and Visualization:
  • Utilize analytical and data visualization tools such as Looker, Mode, Tableau, and Power BI to provide insights and support decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track key performance metrics for clients and internal stakeholders.


  • Technical Expertise:
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis using strong SQL skills.
  • Work with APIs, including REST, SOAP, and GraphQL, using tools such as Postman or Insomnia.

  • Industry Experience:
